We present a rare and exciting collection of rocks and fossils, gathered from various parts of India. Some of the fossils in this exhibition are as old as the Cretaceous period—over 60 million years old!
The study of rocks and fossils is an important part of the school curriculum. This exhibition helps students see and learn directly about:
